Calliope Sailing is for the new sailor, or new adventurer, looking to get out on the water. We focus on day charters and sunset sails for everyone, and classes or coaching for new sailors.
Our sailboat Calliope is a safe, 36 foot sailboat with room down below for a kitchen galley and roomy seating and space on deck for couples, families, or friends to share in the enjoyment of sailing. We want you to enjoy the day and have a great time, so every sail is matched to you and your plans.
Charters
Enjoy the sun, the wind, the water. Half-day, full-day and sunset sails available for groups up to six. We sail in western Long Island Sound with beautiful views of the NYC skyline. Every sail is captained and tailored to you and your group. Perfect for couples, families, and small celebrations to experience something truly special.

Classes and Coaching
Enjoyed your time on the water? New boat owner or just want to learn more? We provide informal and certified instruction on your boat or onboard Calliope. With USCG and ICC certifications, Captain Nate can help you get started, and get going on the water. We also work with NauticEd to teach the USCG rubrics for bareboat charter masters. Packages available for crews, skippers, and couples.
